PostSubject: trying to register   Mon Jan 15, 2007 2:00 pm

and wondering if I messed up on my email address -- filled in the registration form last week Thursday, and haven't heard anything about confirmation yet.

Should I continue to be patient, or try to re-register?

Thanks ever so!!

I have a little question. If we see spam, what do we have to do then? Do we have to pm you? Or do we just put a message here?

Those spammers can be a real pain. For instance Susan Crandall's forum seems to be under a spam attack at the moment. Evil or Very Mad

Indeed they are. Once Candice Hern had 46 messages all from the same spammer! Shocked And it's so hard to keep them of the board.

Hello ladies, Smile

Please forgive me for not replying until now as I have been on holiday for the past week.

Kerrit, are you still having problems or have you re-registered? Please let me know and in the mean time I will look into your account to see what went wrong. Also, you probably have already done this but just wanted to make sure.... Did you check your spam folder for that elusive email?

Wink

Stefanie and Minna.... As soon as you see a spammer please PM me or email me at riksza@yahoo.com ... I'll delete their posts immediately although I have decided to lock all forums so that only people who register will be able to post. Susan Crandall is probably getting spam because anyone can post to her posts. If she locked her forum she might have better luck keeping them away. Just a thought as it might already be locked!

But I'll be on top of it here. Use my email address to contact me ladies!

Happy reading,
Rika

I believe Susan's forum is already locked, but that doesn't seem to even slow down the spammers. They just keep registering under different names.

Rika, this is kerrit, now going by another pseudonym, KayLinne. I waded through the spam/quarantine file twice and can't find the original confirmation message from this board, so I just did it over, using a yahoo mail address.

Here I Am!! And thanks for all your help.
